The Alternative Process Lab
Photography began as chemistry.
Iron salts, silver, egg white, plant juice, and sunlight. Walk into Atelier Square, where every early process has its own atelier. Step through a door, take up the bench, and print your photograph the way it was printed in 1842. Other apprentices may be working beside you.
Prefer a page? Use the flat lab, or read the history.
Others in the atelier see your name, your apron and where you stand. Your photographs never leave this device. Prints made from the drawer's specimen plate can hang on the shared line; only their recipe is sent, and each browser redraws them. Chat is not kept. Tap someone's name to hide them.
This browser cannot draw the atelier (it needs WebGL). The flat lab has every process.
